It's all about the groove with a hint of rockin blues!

Du4, a power trio, is comprised of Cherie DuFour (Du4), lead guitar and vocalist who is backed by Glenn Tapia on bass and Ned Cop on drums. Du4 throws down rhythmic grooves and second line funk that will keep your feet & body movin’!!!

Cherie was born and raised deep in the bayou, in N'Awlins. Some of her musical influences such as SRV, Buddy Guy, Dr. John, Howlin Wolf, Etta James, and the Meters have been instrumental in Cherie establishing her unique musical talent while providing her with a well rounded unique vocal style and guitar technique rarely achieved, regardless of gender.

The sultry, swampy, raw unrefined voice of Ms. DuFour has developed over the years as has her unique, rhythmic, guitar groove. Picking up her first guitar at the age of 9, she knew she was destined for a career in music when she made her first live stage performance at the age of 13. She quickly developed a style and sound of her own with a foundation based on N'Awlins funk and second line groove.
